July 2018 is when our world changed, and our CBD journey began.

At 10 years of age, Rachel, my youngest child was diagnosed with epilepsy. I knew nothing of the disease, how to treat it, or even what it meant for her life and her future. I knew our neurologist would recommend meds, I also knew I didn’t want to go that route if it could be avoided. I had no idea how to begin searching for the answers of the many questions I had.

The universe knew and gave Rachel her fairy godfather of sorts, and within a week of her diagnosis, a friend of mine gave me the name of Ray Mirzabegian at Canniatric. One phone call with him, and I knew this is the exact journey we were supposed to be on. I learned about his sweet daughter Emily and their own journey with epilepsy and what became their saving grace… CBD.

Ray’s guidance and his amazing availability for so many question and concerns, have been the biggest blessing. I was very uneducated about CBD. I knew about the “miracle” it had been to so many people I knew, but I had no idea how it would help Rachel. Different doses, different CBD oils, and many many phone calls and texts later, Rachel is down to 10% off her absence seizures, and on some days 100% seizure free.

The tears and hugs shared with Ray and his entire staff at Canniatric, have been the most difficult and most beautiful moments in our lives. CBD and Canniatric has not only changed the life of my daughter, but has allowed us to meet so many beautiful advocates and warriors in the world of epilepsy and medicinal marijuana.
